Illegal Off Road Bikes

Motorbike Danger in Local Communities.

Police in West Lothian continue to receive reports of illegal off road bikes being used on streets and paths. Often the culprits reside in the area where they are seen. The intention is to identify, deter and educate those who are committing such offences. The Police and Community Safety Partners would like to stop the illegal use of off road bikes.  Injuries from a motorbike accident can be serious and a life changing experience.

Officers continue to carry out letter drops in the affected areas, appealing for witnesses.

Police Scotland also work closely with West Lothian Council Safer Neighbourhood Team response officers, housing officers and schools to identify those responsible.

Should any member of the public have any information as to who is responsible, please contact;
the Police on 101
or anonymously via Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.

By working together, we can all help to keep our communities safe.
