Temporary Local Bus Arrangements - Closure of Bank Street, Mid Calder

Passengers should note that the closure of Bank Street, Mid Calder will cause travel disruption for passengers using service X27, X28 and X40.  These services will follow a diversion which omits all Mid Calder stops. 

Passengers who normally board/alight services on Main Street can either walk to stops on Langton Road (East Calder), or make use of a free demand-responsive Taxibus service to connect with diverted services during the closure period.

The Taxibus service will operate between bus stops on Main Street/Calder Park Road and stops on Bankton Road (route map shown below), where passengers can connect with bus services for onward east or westbound travel.  Journeys should be booked at least 1 hour in advance of travel.

Please advise the call handler which bus stop you intend to use when booking your journey.
