Temporary Local Bus Arrangements - Closure of Junction: Langton Road/Main Street, East Calder

Passengers should note that the closure of the junction of Main Street with Langton Road, East Calder will cause travel disruption for passengers using service X27, X28 and X40.  These services will follow a diversion omitting East Calder. Services X27 and X40 will serve Calderwood as normal at this time.

To minimise disruption, West Lothian Council will provide a free demand-responsive Taxibus service to operate between Langton Road, East Calder and Kirknewton, where passengers can connect with bus services for onward east or westbound travel.  Journeys should be booked at least 1 hour in advance of travel.

Please advise the call handler which bus stop you intend to use when booking your journey.
