Road Closure - Impacting SD Travel Service 6
C10 Bridgecastle Road 28 August - 3 September 2025
Due to the above road closure, Service 6 operated by SD Travel will be unable to serve Bridgecastle.
In addition to the existing Taxibus service the council currently provides, a further demand-responsive taxibus service which will act as a partial replacement for the bus service, is available for passengers to pre-book for travel during the road closure period, free of charge.
Passengers wishing to travel to and from Armadale can pre-book their journey for arrival/departure from Armadale Cross at the following times Monday - Saturday:

How do I book my journey?
Journeys can be booked by calling: West Lothian Private Hire on 01506 43 43 43.
Ask the call handler to book the Bridgecastle Taxibus service and tell them where you wish to be picked up from. They will then give you a pick-up time.

Passengers should note that the road closure may be lifted upon earlier completion of works, Taxibus service will be removed and normal bus service reinstated.
