Following the confirmation of the move to Level 0 by the Scottish Government, key services will re-open further.

All CIS offices will be fully open from Monday 19 July on an appointment basis.  Blackburn, Broxburn, Livingston and Whitburn re-opened in April and they will be joined by the CIS offices based within partnership centres in Armadale, Bathgate, Linlithgow and Livingston North, as well as West Calder Library.

To manage access, and to control the numbers of people visiting our buildings, an appointment system will be in operation. Customers should phone 01506 280150 to speak with one of our officers and book an appointment.  The phone line operates between the hours of 9am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am - 3.30pm on a Friday.

There is no longer a drop-in service and customers are requested to attend the appointment alone where possible.
Payment Offices at Arrochar House (Livingston) and Bathgate Partnership Centre are open for business as usual with no appointment required.

For further information please visit our web page: Customer Information Service (CIS)

Appointments are no longer required for visits to libraries at Bathgate (Simpson), Broxburn, Linlithgow, Carmondean and Whitburn libraries from Monday 19 July.

All five of West Lothian's largest libraries will be able to welcome customers who have not pre-booked in advance to browse only once more.

To ensure the safety of staff and customers, visitor numbers will remain limited based on the capacity at each library, therefore, queues may be experienced during busy periods.

Visitors will be asked to wear a face covering (unless exempt), follow the signage in the libraries to use the one-way systems in place, hand sanitise, maintain physical distance and use the test and protect procedure.

Our helpful library staff will be on hand for assistance if required and physical distancing should be maintained.

Browsing by appointment will continue in the remaining smaller West Lothian libraries until further notice to ensure they remain a safe environment for staff and customers.

Click and Collect appointments will also be extended in every library until 15 minutes prior to closing.

Please visit Your Library  for individual library opening times.
