Next phase of Blackburn Community Choices kicks off
Residents of Blackburn aged 8 and over are invited to vote on which local projects they'd like to see receive funding as part of Blackburn Community Choices.
Blackburn Community Choices will see a funding pot of £25,000 allocated to local projects which aim to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals and families in Blackburn. Groups and organisations have come forward with their ideas on how to do this and now residents are being asked to select their three favourites from a shortlist.
The shortlist can be viewed on the Blackburn Community Choices section of the West Lothian Council website where you can also find a link to the voting platform to cast your vote.

The voting period runs from Monday 1 March until Friday 26 March.
The Blackburn project is part of West Lothian Community Choices, West Lothian's version of Participatory Budgeting - a democratic process which empowers people and communities to have a greater say in how public money is spent.
