Managing Organisational Change

Services need to be structured to effectively meet service needs and priorities and therefore it will, at times, be necessary to review structures; change the number of employees, delete posts where the work is no longer required, create new roles or amend existing roles to meet the changing demands on the service.

The council is committed to working with employees and trade unions in managing these changes and will seek to achieve agreement to change through constructive and open dialogue.
