You will be aware of the national increase in scarlet fever and other presentations of Group A Strep infection amongst children and young people across Scotland and the UK.

The Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry is investigating the devolved strategic response to the pandemic in Scotland between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2022. The Inquiry will establish the facts, identify the lessons that need to be learned, and make recommendations to Scottish Ministers.

There are a range community and online services available for adults and older people that can offer direct and/or immediate help, often without having to go through our main referral process.
