COVID-19 Memorial Garden - Official Opening
The new COVID Community Memorial will be officially opened on 18 December
The opening will take place at the Memorial Garden, which is situated to the south of the Garden of Remembrance, at the Civic Centre in Livingston, on 18 December 2024 at 11:00am. There will be a short service.
The purpose of a new memorial garden is to remember those lost in the COVID pandemic. Members of the public have donated items of sentimental value, that remind them of loved ones lost during the pandemic, which have been incorporated into the wall structure.
Members of the public are invited to attend the opening.
Please note that the nearest car park is at Livingston Football Club stadium. Disabled parking is available at the Civic Centre.
The project is wholly funded by the Scottish Government and Greenspace Scotland through their Remembering Together project.
