Kick off your reading with 4-4-2!

What is this and how can you get involved?

The purpose of the 4-4-2 Reading Challenge is to encourage primary aged pupils between 5-12 years of age to borrow amazing books from their local library and develop an enjoyment of reading.  West Lothian Libraries are delighted to be working locally with Livingston FC and WL Community Foundation Trust.

This initiative centres on a reading 'challenge card' which local libraries can issue to pupils interested in taking part. 

For every book successfully read and returned to their local library, a child will receive one sticker on their challenge card. 

After reading four books and receiving four stickers, pupils can return their completed card to the Livingston FC ticket office in exchange for a free match day ticket.  Parents/guardians will have the opportunity to purchase one adult ticket at a discounted rate to accompany the child as necessary.

Four books for two tickets, it couldn't be simpler.

How to get started?

• Sign up at your local library and receive a collectors card
• Borrow amazing books and collect 4 stickers
• Exchange your full card for a FREE child's ticket and a discounted adult ticket for our SPFL football matches whilst funding lasts.
• Start all over again!
