New Head Teacher for Knightsridge
Kirsty Mclaren has been appointed as the new Head Teacher at Knightsridge Primary School and Early Years Centre in Livingston.
Prior to beginning her teaching career, Kirsty studied in the USA and played basketball. She has taught in West Lothian since 2004 and was formerly Head Teacher of Kirkhill Primary since 2018.
She said: "I am delighted to be taking up the post of Head Teacher of Knightsridge Primary and Early Years Centre. I have thoroughly enjoyed my start to life at Knightrsidge and would like to thank everyone in the school community for an extremely warm welcome.
"I'm looking forward to working with colleagues to ensure we build on past successes and make Knightsridge the best possible learning environment for our incredible pupils."
