If you need to tell us about the death of someone who was responsible for paying Council Tax, you can use the Deceased Notification form. This will help us update our records and ensure the Council Tax account is managed correctly.

  The form can be completed by a relative, executor, or anyone who is helping to manage the person’s affairs. The information you provide will allow us to update our records and ensure Council Tax is calculated correctly. You will be asked for details about the deceased and the address where they lived.
  
  If you have supporting documents, such as a death certificate, you can upload them as part of this form. If these are not available at the time of completion, you can still submit the form and provide documents at a later date.
