Electric Vehicle Charging Points Relief

Details of the conditions that need to be met to be awarded Electric Vehicle Charging Points Relief and how to apply.

From 1 April 2026 properties used wholly or mainly for the provision of an electric vehicle charging point and an associated bay may be eligible for 100% relief.

The charging point must be intended for use by members of the general public.

Relief is not excluded in the event that the charging point is out of order for a temporary period of time.

Relief is available for the period of ten years up to 2035/36.

Subsidy Control

Certain reliefs may be offered as Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) subsidy under the Subsidy Control Act 2022.  The application form will detail the additional information required from you.
