West Lothian partners have developed a draft Carers Strategy 2026-2028 for consultation
This sets out our shared vision and priorities to improve outcomes for all unpaid carers across West Lothian. The strategy has been shaped by national policy, local feedback from unpaid carers and learning from previous strategies, and focuses on early intervention, prevention and reducing inequalities.
We are inviting carers, people with lived and living experience, partner organisations and members of the wider community to share their views on the draft Carers Strategy 2026-2028 (Word doc, 1 MB)(opens new window). Your feedback is essential in helping us ensure the strategy reflects real experiences, addresses current and emerging challenges, and focuses on what matters most to carers.
