Essential Refurbishment Work at Livingston Skate Park

Livingston Skate Park is due to undergo a large refurbishment project, starting on site on the 13th of April. The works are being carried out by a specialist skate park contractor and will ensure the skate park remains a safe and functional public asset for many years to come.

The works will mean that the full skate park, and the full associated car park, will be shut and fenced off from the 13th of April until the end of May. The works are timed to begin after the school Easter holidays and before the Summer holidays.

The majority of the works will involve:

-              Re-pouring of damaged and worn concrete sections

-              Repairing cracks

-              Sealing and polishing the surface

The skate park will be secured with Heras fencing, security towers and CCTV to ensure public safety during the works. Please note that any unauthorised access during works is unsafe and will be reported to the police.
