Winter magic sought for West Lothian country parks
West Lothian Council is inviting commercial events operators to add some sparkle to the area's fantastic country parks this autumn and winter.
Offers are being sought for autumn and winter-themed ticketed events at Beecraigs, Almondell and Polkemmet Country Parks.
Interested experienced operators have been invited to put forward ideas for event in any or all of the three superb country parks during Autumn and Winter 2026.
These would make positive use of the parks' facilities, and generate valuable income that could be re-invested in essential council services.
A marketing pack has been created setting out what each park contains, to give operators the chance to use their expert knowledge on what might work best at each location.
Any potential ideas should be submitted to the council by 12noon on 25 February 2026, with a view to having new events to take place during autumn and winter 2026.
A West Lothian Council spokesperson said: "We would like to invite any commercial event operators to consider what ticketed events could be operated from our three fabulous country parks this winter.
"It's a fantastic opportunity for operators to put forward ideas, including any suggestions for extending use out with the winter period."
