Roads Adoption Information

Cost

A charge of £75 will be applied per request of any road's adoption information you may require from the Council.

Application

If you have an enquiry about who maintains a road or footpath, please make an application using the this link - adoptionenquiry@westlothian.gov.uk (opens new window). Please provide a property address and if possible a plan showing the area of road or footpath relating to your enquiry.

Payment

On completion of your application please email your request along with the payment reference number by following the link below - 

• Pay for it. From this link select Roads, Street and Parking, Online Payment form. Pay for road, footway, skips online, Miscellaneous Payment, Operational Services, Pay for Supply of Adoption Ownership Info.
