Community Consultation: Register of Common Good
West Lothian Council is reviewing the properties held in its Common Good Register and we are consulting with our communities on which properties should be included in that Register.
Common Good is property owned by the council that has been passed down, through local government reorganisation, from former burghs. It can include land and buildings or moveable items such as furniture and art. West Lothian has four former burghs, namely Armadale, Bathgate, Linlithgow and Whitburn. Details of the properties currently under review for inclusion in the Register are provided HERE.
If you would like to take part in this consultation or find our more about Common Good, please email PropertyManagement@westlothian.gov.uk.
Please note the consultation will close on 30 September 2021.
