 Backup Your Child poster created by Bathgate Academy Parent Council on different ways that parents can become involved in their child's educational experience. This poster was endorsed by National Parent Forum of Scotland and by the deputy First Minister and Chair of the Education and Skills Committee as an example of best practice being undertaken by parents.

• U : Understand what your child is learning at school
• P : Promote your time to get involved
