Update schools and early years
All West Lothian Council schools and nurseries will now return later than originally planned following the festive holidays. This is in line with the latest Scottish Government advice.
Online/home learning will now resume on Monday 11 January. All learning will take place online until at least Monday 18 January.
The revised school opening schedule applies for the majority of pupils but children of key workers and vulnerable pupils will be able to return to their school as planned on Wednesday 6 January.
We will provide further details to parents and pupils as soon as possible. This will also include clarification on the definition of key workers and details on the process of applying for Key Worker status. School meals, school meal payments and school transport will also continue and details will be provided in advance on 6 January.
