West Lothian pupils can enjoy half price school meals on Mondays to Wednesdays during August.

Eat Out to Help out

The council has registered for the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, which offers a 50% discount on meals and soft drinks up to the value of £10.
Following a successful trial this week, the discount will be applied at the till or when meals are pre-ordered using the new Fusion mobile app in high schools or by using the iPayImpact system in primary schools.
The scheme applies to every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday up to 31 August.
Executive councillor for the environment Tom Conn said: "I'm delighted that pupils will be able to enjoy a tasty and nutritious school meal for half price, thanks to the Eat Out to Help Out scheme.
"I know this will be appreciated by many parents and carers, and help encourage pupils to try school meals again following the extended break.
"Our school meals are made from fresh ingredients, using free-range eggs and high-welfare meat, and free from genetically modified ingredients and undesirable additives.
"This led to our primary schools receiving the prestigious Food for Life Served Here award for the quality of our school menu."
All parents/carers are encouraged to sign up to, or use, their child's iPayImpact account.
Please ensure has enough credit to cover the cost of any meals and anyone who is having issues using the iPayImpact system should contact their school for advice and support.
