Proposal
West Lothian Council agreed, on 29 May 2018, to undertake formal consultation on the proposal to review admission arrangements arising from denominational school catchment variations at St Paul's Primary School East Calder, St Ninian's Primary School Dedridge and St Mary's Primary School Polbeth.
Statutory Consultation
In terms of the Schools (Consultation)(Scotland) Act 2010 (the Act), any proposed changes to a school estate in this case review of admission arrangements arising from school catchment area variations, requires Statutory Public Consultation.
The Consultation involves the parents/carers/children and staff of St Paul's Primary School East Calder, St Ninian's Primary School Dedridge and St Mary's Primary School Polbeth as well as all other key stakeholders associated with the school and statutory consultees as detailed in Schedule 2 of the Act.
