There are a number of housing associations operating in West Lothian.

Below you will find information about registered housing associations (sometimes referred to as Registered Social Landlords, or RSLs) operating in West Lothian. Registered Social Landlord New Build Programme

Housing Associations in West Lothian

Almond Housing Association

Almond Housing Association (opens new window) is a locally-based non-profit making voluntary organisation, with the aim of providing people with the right to rent quality housing. Most of the near 2500 properties are located in the Craigshill, Eliburn, Howden and Ladywell areas of Livingston.

Bield Housing and Care

Bield Housing and Care (opens new window) provide quality housing and services for older people, including amenity housing, retirement housing, sheltered or very sheltered housing.

Cairn Housing Association

Cairn Housing Association (opens new window) offer a range of affordable housing and related services throughout Scotland, including in Bathgate and East Whitburn.

Hanover (Scotland) Housing Association

Hanover (Scotland) Housing Association (opens new window) provide affordable, modern and safe housing and related services to older people.

Home Group

Home Group (opens new window) are a new Registered Social Landlord to West Lothian. They are currently building 69 new 2 and 3 bedroom homes at the Calderwood development in East Calder. These homes will be available for Social Rent by late 2021.

Horizon Housing Association (opens new window) are a social housing provider and social enterprise which promotes and provides affordable housing and related services across Central Scotland, including West Lothian.

Link Housing Association

Link Housing Association (opens new window) provide housing management services to over 7,000 tenants in social rented accommodation - both general needs and sheltered housing.

Places for People (opens new window) are a property management, development and regeneration company providing homes to rent in West Lothian.

West Lothian Housing Partnership

West Lothian Housing Partnership (opens new window) (WLHP) has around 400 affordable homes in Bathgate, Blackburn, Boghall, Broxburn, Craigshill, Stoneyburn, West Calder, Whitburn and Winchburgh.
