Homebound service

Library books delivered to your home by volunteers

Given the increasing spread of COVID-19, the Food Train, who deliver the Homebound service on West Lothian Council's behalf, have advised that they have temporarily withdrawn this service to reduce the risk to vulnerable customers and volunteers.  Apologies for any inconvenience.

Homebound customers who currently have books on loan need not worry about the return of these until this situation has changed.

Please have a look at our Digital Library for a wide selection of e-books, e-talking books and digital magazines, all free to download for West Lothian library members.

If you enjoy reading or listening to talking books, but are unable to visit the library due to disability or illness, our homebound service may be able to help.  Books are selected to your requirements and delivered to you at home.

The homebound service is provided by the Library Service, in partnership with Food Train West Lothian.
