ACE Backstage Pass

Local community group Alternative Company Entertainers (ACE) are performing a brand-new, original musical 'Backstage Pass' from Thursday 7 to Saturday 9 March.

When the theatre manager sells them out to the notorious Dodgy Doris, the cast must scramble to come up with a plan to save their theatre. With a director who hates musicals, a Diva that can't sing and dog on the loose, can they work together and pull off the musical of the year?

Tickets are £7 for adults, £5 for concessions and are available from:  Tickets

Welcome awaits at Peep group

Parents with children aged between 2 and 3 years are welcome to come along to the PEEP group at Blackburn Partnership Centre.

Peep supports parents and carers in encouraging your child's learning and development.  You can make a real difference just by talking, singing, sharing books and playing together.

Come along - you and your child can make friends, share ideas and have fun through singing, story and activities.

The play centres around Moira Bell, a cleaner, single mother, and the hardest woman in Falkirk. Whether defending her wee dog Pepe from the local rottweiler, attempting to seduce a teacher, or belting out Diana Ross for the Scotia karaoke night, Moira is hilarious, hypnotic, frightening and heart-warming company.

Proceeds from the event will go to Calums Cabin, which provides a service for children suffering from cancer and their families,
