Matt McGinn extravaganza

This year's annual Matt McGinn extravaganza in Linlithgow will take place in Linlithgow Academy from 7.30pm on Saturday 2 March.

Organised by Linlithgow Folk Festival, tickets cost £12 and are available from:

Play netball with the Linlithgow Flyers

You can get your 2019 off to a great start by joining the ladies of Linlithgow Flyers Netball Club for some fun, recreational netball sessions.

The club meets at Xcite Linlithgow from 8pm - 9pm on Tuesdays and 6.30pm - 8pm on Wednesdays.

All levels of experience are welcome including complete beginners.

Free computer classes and workshops

A free programme of computer classes and workshops will be run from the end of January, providing support for beginner to certificated level.

The courses are ideal for: employability, multimedia, smartphones and tablets.

Tea dance

An Ageing Well Tea Dance for the over 50s will take place at Xcite Leisure Centre, Linlithgow from 1.30pm - 4pm on Tuesday 15 January.

Enjoy a full entertaining afternoon with friends old and new.

The first half hour is tea and coffee and social time, followed by a sing song from 1.30pm.

The cost is £3 per session.

Dementia café

The Caring Café, Linlithgow is a meeting place where people who have any form of dementia, and their carers, can come to meet others in a similar situation for support and social contact, a cup of tea or coffee and delicious  home baking.

Carers on their own are also welcome, as are people with dementia who  are able to make their own way there.

Come along for the whole session, or you are welcome to just drop in for as long as you like. The café runs on the third Wednesday of every month from 10am - 12noon, at Low Port Centre, 1 Blackness Road, Linlithgow. .
