Information regarding employability support for individuals who are worried about their job, just been made redundant or are uncertain about their future employment due to Coronavirus (COVID 19).
West Lothian Council have a range of services that can provide you with support and information on what you are entitled to.

Employment advisers are available to offer telephone appointments and online support to assist with:
- Job search
- CV preparation
- Applications
- Cover letters
- Information on the latest local vacancies
- Applying for Apprenticeships

Access2employment provides free, confidential support to prepare a tailored CV and cover letter
For help with a CV, please either phone our Freephone number, 0800 032 9768, to speak to an adviser or complete the CV Proforma. An adviser will then help draft your CV and will email a final version to you. They can also assist with cover letters and online applications.
In addition, Access2employment scans local job opportunities daily and can send you regular jobs bulletins, tailored to your area of interest.
Redundancy
If you are facing redundancy West Lothian Council have a range of services that are available to support you from financial advice and support to information on what you are entitled to and support to look for alternative employment.
