Fare Paying School Transport
Information regarding fare paying school transport
Due to COVID 19, the use of 10 journey tickets and onboard cash has been suspended and a new cashless process has now been implemented.
Parents of non-entitled pupils travelling on fare-paying routes must now pre-book and pre-pay for journeys in advance via iPayImpact (iPay). Pupils will not be able to travel unless they have pre-booked and have a valid weekly bus ticket for the journey. Each school bus will have a set capacity for fare paying pupils and weekly bus tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Tickets will only be available for routes which are designated as 'fare paying'. Parent can check details of fare paying routes here
Bus tickets for fare paying pupils can only be purchased as a weekly bus ticket and cannot be purchased for individual days. These bus tickets cannot be carried forward and can only be used for the week you have purchased your ticket for. There is no requirement to use the service every day however you will be charged for the full week regardless of how many journeys you make.
