Whitburn Older People's Partnership Centre

The partnership was set up with a vision of providing a local opportunity for people to access various services to insure the physical, mental and financial health of older people in the Whitburn area.

The following services; Blackburn Seafield and District Credit Union, Citizens Advice Bureau's Money Advice Service, EARS Advocacy, Carer's of West Lothian and Alzheimer Scotland's Dementia Advice are available currently for the benefit of all. The groups and services available at 61 West Main St are booked by appointment and are now open to all people in need of the services as part of the provisions offered and organised by the Whitburn Community Development Trust.

We hope to re-instate surgeries from the Advice Shop's Pensioner Income Maximisation Service shortly. The partnership also organises seasonal Network Events as an opportunity to consult with service users and to share information with them, these are also a great social event and provide an interesting and entertaining afternoon culminating in a buffet and brew and a chance to have a blether.
