Linlithgow Palace

The Royal Palace of Linlithgow, is situated by the shore of Linlithgow Loch and occupies a commanding position overlooking the town. The palace was the birthplace of King James V and Mary, Queen of Scots, who spent seven months in residence as an infant. Large groups may be given guided tours, subject to prior arrangement with the site.

Times: April - September: Monday - Sunday 9.30am - 5.30pm. October - March: Monday - Sunday 9.30am - 4.30pm. Last ticket sold 45 minutes before closing.

Disabled facilities: Access to courtyard, but palace itself is not easily accessible.

Fees: Adult £5.50, Child £3.30, Concession £4.40 (2011 prices)
