Linlithgow Civic Trust

The Trust was formed in 1971 and aims to promote an awareness of the town's historic and architectural character and safeguard its amenities for both residents and visitors. Also runs annual programme of visits, talks and a members' evening. The Trust promotes publications (e.g. Linlithgow: Architecture & History of a Scottish Royal Burgh) & comments on planning applications within Linlithgow. The Trust also organises Doors Open Days for all of West Lothian.

Annual membership fees for the Linlithgow Civic Trust are as follows:-

  •  Ordinary Membership - £10 per person - £20 per couple
  •  Senior Citizen Membership  - £8 per person - £16 per couple
  •  Family (household) Membership - £15 per household
  •  Life Membership - £80  per person or £100 per couple
  •  Volunteer Membership (Burgh Beautiful) - Free
