Livingston Karate Club - Balbardie Primary School

We are an independent club training Shokotan Karate. Classes cater for adults and children from 6 years. The club's goal is to develop Defensive Skills, Focus and Discipline which promotes Spiritual Growth, Personal Development and Mental Stamina.

All classes are supervised by chief instructor Grahame Brown. All instructors have been checked by Disclosure Scotland and have valid insurance.

We are also members of the British Martial Arts and Boxing Association and West Lothian Sports Council as well as having club accreditation with West Lothian Council.

6.00 - 7.00 Dragon Ninjas class

7.00 - 8.45 General Training class

8.45 - 9.00 Black belt students only

The Dragon Ninjas class is aimed at children from primary one and above. These are held under the supervision of Grahame our chief instructor. They are designed to introduce young children to karate with the emphasis placed on FUN and EXCITEMENT.  This allows children to progress at their own rate working their way through a series of belts. 

The emphasis of the class is to focus on a wide range of fun and sporting activities and to develop a child's Self Confidence, Self Discipline, Concentration, Respect, Goal Setting, Courtesy and Motor Skills.

Our General class is aimed at adults and children (8 years  +) of all  levels.

The first class is free, thereafter Dragon Ninjas pay as they train at £6 a week . 

Our general class students can enroll on our induction course (£35 for 2 months training, includes a free karate suit). After this period training fees are due as below:

£22/month for under 16's 

£28/month for adults

New members can join through our induction course £35 for 2 months training, includes karate suit.
