For information on registering to vote or to getting postal or proxy vote visit the  Electoral Registration Office website. (email the Electoral Registration Office).  You can also register to vote online.

The deadline for registering to vote in the European Election is Tuesday 7 May 2019.  The deadline for applying for a postal vote is 5pm on Wednesday 8 May 2019.  

Candidates are entitled to the free use of council meeting rooms in the run-up to an election. For the European Parliament elections that right applies from 15 April 2019 till 22 May 2019, both dates inclusive pdf icon Guidance, including the list of rooms, is available. [283kb]
