This gives some advice about scaffolding around your council home during repairs and improvements.
As part of a replacement/refurbishment programme for your home we will remove and replace windows, fixtures and fittings. The work will take around two working days and our operatives will try to refit your blinds, curtains, fittings etc. to their original position

From time to time West Lothian Council finds it necessary to charge tenants for repairs carried out on their property.
The Council is required to check your solid fuel heating appliances annually. If you have a solid fuel heating appliance you will receive a letter from our contractor advising when they will be working in your area.
The council has a tobacco/smoking policy which complies with the terms of the Smoking, Health and Social Care (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Prohibition of Smoking in Certain Premises (Scotland) Regulations 2006.
