Expiring Badges
A Blue Badge is issued for a maximum of 3 years. Near to the end of the period stated on your existing badge, you will need to re-apply and supply up to date evidence of your entitlement, proof of identity and address. There is a charge of £20 for all successful applications.

We encourage customers to apply 10 weeks before their existing badge expires to allow for the additional time involved in the process. Please be aware that holding an existing Blue Badge is not a guarantee that you will be eligible when you reapply. Each application is assessed on the applicant's mobility at the point of application.
Applicants are required to provide the same information/evidence again when they reapply for their blue badge.
