      The Regeneration Team is responsible for the development and and day to day management of Councils policies relating to the voluntary and 3rd Sectors.The Regeneration Team manage the funding process and monitor the organisations that it funds. It also manages the Gala Committee Budget and the Pensioners Christmas Fund.

      There is evidence that young people are under-represented in the electoral process (from getting on to the electoral register to voting). The council has an ongoing programme of events in schools throughout West Lothian with the aim of increasing participation in the electoral process.

      The Electoral Registration Officer produces the Register of Electors for the council. You must be on this to be able to vote in elections. You can now apply to get on the Electoral Register up to 12 working days before an election.
