Golf

The Golf Course is a challenging 9-hole, Par 37, with a picturesque and demanding last green which can only be reached by a formidable shot over the river valley.

The course

This parkland course was opened in 1981 and is surrounded by mature woodland, with the River Almond meandering through a number of holes.

Measuring 3253 yards for men, and 2412 yards for ladies, with two Par 5s and one Par 3, Polkemmet Golf Course is designed to welcome men, women, beginners and juniors to the game, but also provides a stern challenge for the experienced golfer.

Polkemmet Golf Course is a Scottish Golf Union affiliated course with an emergent club membership, it also boasts a successful ClubGolf Junior Programme which attracts young talent from all over West Lothian and beyond.

The driving range, golf course and Visitor Centre at Polkemmet is operated by West Lothian Leisure.

  • Monday-Friday 9am - 7pm
  • Saturday & Sunday 7am - 5pm

May to August

  • Monday-Friday 7am - 8pm
  • Saturday-Sunday 7am - 7pm

September 

  • Monday-Friday 8am - 7pm
  • Saturday-Sunday 7am - 5pm

October to March

  • Monday-Sunday 8:30am - 4:15pm

Open all year, excluding four public holidays at Christmas/New Year.

Car Parking

Polkemmet is well served for parking, with two main car parks and an overspill for the busiest days. There are also six disabled bays, located close to the Visitor Centre.


Club Golf
