East Calder library provides a full range of library services including public access computers.

East Calder library will close for relocation to East Calder Partnership Centre on Monday 26 February. 
The library is scheduled to re-open on Monday 19 March.

Monday & Friday: 10.00am - 5.00pm

Tuesday: 10.00am - 3.00pm

Wednesday: 11.00am - 4.00pm

Thursday: 12.00pm - 7.00pm

Saturday: 10.00am - 1.00pm

Stories, songs & rhymes for babies, toddlers & pre-school children.  Bring a grown-up with you to share in the fun.

The next session will take place in the new library location:

  • Saturday 24 March at 10.30am
  • Adult Book Group D

Relaxed book group. An hour of friendly discussion with free refreshments.  A provisional date of Thursday 15 February at 5.45pm has been set for the meeting however please check with library staff as this may be affected by upcoming library move.

The group will meet on Thursday 29 March at 5.45pm in the new location.

  • Adult Book Group A 

The book group next meets on 22 March at 5.45pm in the new location.

Registration Services

Registration services by appointment for any birth or death that occur anywhere in Scotland or marriage within West Lothian. 

Service available by appointment only.
