Located with the community centre in South Street, the library offers books, free access to public computers and more...


Armadale Library offers a wide range of services to people of all ages:

  • Books for children, young people and adults
  • Talking books
  • Large Print books
  • Storytimes
  • Bookbug sessions
  • Six pcs providing free computer access

There is also a small community museum, which celebrates the history of Armadale and hosts various travelling exhibitions.

Monday & Wednesday: 10am - 3pm

Tuesday: 11am - 6pm

Thursday: 10am - 7pm

Friday: 10am - 5pm

Saturday: 9am - 1pm

  • Summer Reading Challenge

Sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge from Friday 22 June, read six books, take part in fun activities and get rewards - and all for free!  Open to primary school aged children of all reading abilities.  Speak to library staff for more details and to register.  The challenge takes place from 2 July to 17 August 2018.
