Almondbank Library (Craigshill)

Located in Craigshill in Livingston, Almondbank Library offers library facilities, public access computers and Access2Employment advisors.

Almondbank Library offers a wide range of library and information services to people of all ages living or working in West Lothian. A comprehensive selection of fiction, non-fiction and children's books is available in a variety of formats, including talking books, and adult large print. There are also six PCs available for free public use to access the Internet, email or MS Office packages.

Free WiFi is now available in the library. Simply register for a MyGovScot account and use this to sign in to the WiFi.

  • Almondbank Kid's Book Group

The children's reading group meets on Thursday 7 December at 4.00pm to 5.00pm. Reading and activities for children aged 8-11 years.  Please come along - new members are very welcome.

  • Sora Comics and Manga Group

The group meets on Thursday 7 December between 4.30pm and 6.00pm.  New members are always welcome.

  • Adult Crime Reading Group

New adult reading group meeting on Wednesday 29 November at 2.30pm until 3.30pm.

Please come along - all new members welcome.  

The group will take a break in December and will resume on Wednesday 31 January.

  • Children's Storytime and Craft Session for Book Week Scotland

As part of Book Week Scotland, Almondbank Library holds a Scottish storytime and craft session on Friday 1 December at 2.00pm.


Access2Employment is available in Almondbank Centre, continuing support tailored around the individual so that they are equipped with employability skills that meet the needs of employers. Advisers help people to develop confidence or advise on preparing CVs, provide interview guidance, assist with the completion of application forms and provide overall employability support.

Interview rooms mean quiet, confidential consulting areas are now available. Access2Employment also deals with people who are under threat of redundancy to help them move into a new job as quickly as possible. For more information Freephone 0800 032 9768.


K.O. Burgers is now open in Almondbank Centre serving hot and cold foods, breakfasts, mammoth spiced sausages, paninis, salads etc.

We are known for our speciality K.O. Burgers, all being served daily.  On Wednesdays and Thursdays, we have our famous Mr Singh's curries.  On Fridays we also serve fish, chips and peas.

Our Opening hours are:
