Local Government Elections 2017

Information about the Local Government Elections being held on 4 May 2017

The West Lothian Council election 2017 count is taking place on Friday 5 May.

Results will be published as soon as they are available at: Council Election results 2017

Elections will be held on 4 May 2017 in each of the council's nine wards to elect a total of 33 councillors for West Lothian.

Registering to vote

The deadline for registering to vote for the local government elections is 17 April 2017.  More information on registering to vote.

The deadline for applying for a postal vote is 5pm on 18 April 2017. More information on applying for a postal vote.
