Town Twinning

West Lothian has always been in favour of establishing links abroad and twinning is one way we have achieved this.  We currently have a successful and active partnership with Hochsauerland (new window), Germany and are now in the process of forming relations with Grapevine (new window), Texas.  Relationships like these bring benefits to both areas involved and encourage a learning of new cultures.

Linlithgow (new window) also has a successful long term partnership with the French town of Guyancourt.
