Art galleries - general information

Karen Phillips has recently taken up the post of visual arts development officer with Arts Services.   Karen can be contacted using the information on the right.  

Arts Services main visual arts gallery, Howden Park Centre in Livingston, is closed during the redevelopment of the building.   When the Centre reopens the dedicated gallery space will be bigger and visual arts will feature in many new parts of the building. 

In addition to independent art galleries in West Lothian, the Strathbrock Partnership Centre in Broxburn features a permanent exhibition of around 150 paintings, drawings and photographs by an organisation called SPLAT - a consortium of seven community visual arts groups.
