The Readers Group meets on the last Thursday of the month, from 6.30pm-7.30pm. Come along and join us for some enjoyable discussion and sharing of ideas - we're all very friendly, so don't worry if you've never been to a book group before!
- Inked Plus - Graphic Novel Workshops
Meet the authors and illustrators and discuss story ideas and characters - Metaphrog in the library.

- West Lothian Council Advice Shop
Contact the Advice Shop at Carmondean Connected via the Council telly talk system.
The West Lothian Council Advice Shop tackles poverty, social exclusion and disadvantage by helping people through income maximisation, debt counselling, employment advice and assisting with housing and fuel poverty. Advice can also be provided on household energy saving and general housing related advice such as applying for housing, repair issues, neighbour complaints and other tenancy matters.

An adviser from Access to Employment will be available in the library from 1.30pm-5.00pm every Wednesday.
- Computer Classes
The library has weekly computer classes - ask the staff for full details.

Pay your rent, council tax etc at our Payment kiosk by cash or credit/debit card.
Bring your council enquiries along to our video conferencing facility and talk one-to-one with the Council Information Service, who can deal with all your enquiries from lost bins to repairs and housing applications.
All concessionary travel pass foms and Blue Badges are issued from Carmondean Connected.
LANTHORN LIBRARY (Dedridge, Livingston)

Attention all avid readers! If you enjoy discussing books with other book lovers, the Lanthorn reading group might be just the thing for you. We meet on the first Thursday of the month at 6.30pm and the meeting is relaxed and friendly and we even provide tea and biscuits, so why not give it a try? All the world's a film, so pick up a classic from the world of cinema for only £1.00 weekly hire.
We have films from the best of Spanish directors to the unusual Russian comedy with subtitles available on many titles. Our top picks are : "Memoirs of a Geisha", "Women on the verge of a nervous breakdown" and "Man bites dog".
