West Lothian Cancer Information and Support Centre
The West Lothian Cancer Information and Support Centre offers local people support and information on all aspects of living with cancer. Based in Carmondean Connected in Deans, Livingston, the centre is staffed by an experienced Macmillan cancer support nurse and trained volunteers.
This service is a partnership between Macmillan, West Lothian Council and NHS Lothian. Staff are there to guide visitors through the comprehensive range of leaflets and books on cancer topics, and guided internet access is also available. They can also guide patients to complementary therapies available in the area, as well as offer stress management tips, dietary and nutritional advice.
The centre provides visitors with a comfortable environment to talk about their experiences, with people who understand.
The drop-in service is open :
Tuesdays :10.00am -12.00pm and 4.30pm - 6.30pm
Thursdays : 1.30pm - 3.30pm and 5.00pm - 7.00pm
Fridays : 9.30am -11.30am
