Learn online at your library or at home by exploring the wide variety of courses open to you through GOAL (Get Online and Learn), the Open University and Alison.
These courses are free and can be done at your own pace, whether you want to improve your job skills or learn for enjoyment. Check out the websites below for more information.
GOAL (new window) : helping people in West Lothian gain access to training and education, from introductory courses to HND. There are informal courses as well as those leading to qualifications.
Open University - Open Learn (new window) : free online learning for everyone. Learn about a wide range of subjects from Arts and History to IT and computing, or brush up your study or language skills.
Alison (new window) : improve your job skills with an extensive range of free online interactive work-related courses, from touch typing to project management or Microsoft Office packages.
