Theatres
Theatres in West Lothian stage a very broad range of performances taking in all kinds of music, drama and dance. West Lothian Council has a strategic plan to redevelop 3 arts venues - The Regal Community Theatre in Bathgate, Howden Park Centre in Livingston and the Burgh Halls in Linlithgow.
Work to transform the Burgh Halls is now underway and the historic building is due to reopen in Spring 2010. Howden Park Centre in Livingston has recently reopened following a £6million redevelopment and now has a stunning new 292 seat theatre at the heart of the building. The Regal Community Theatre in Bathgate is a busy venue for all kinds of arts, films and community events.
