Archives - access
We are open to the public Monday to Thursday: 9am - 12pm and 2pm - 5pm, Friday: 9am - 12pm and 2pm - 4pm. Everyone is welcome to use the Archives and Records Centre and access to the archives is free. Records can be consulted in the public search room and staff are available to assist with enquiries.
- Introduction to Archives Sessions
The archives is keen to increase access to collections. "Introduction to Archives" sessions are available to groups who would like to find out more about our archives, and techniques for handling archive material. No appointment is necessary but it is advisable to contact us in advance, as reader spaces are limited. Identification (including name and address) is required on the first visit in order to complete a reader registration form.
The search room is situated on the ground floor and has a disabled toilet.
