Parks, gardens and open spaces - facilities, information and events
NETs and Land Services are repsonsible for parks, recreation areas, open spaces and sports grounds maintenance as awell as administering the garden maintenance scheme, gala grants and private development adoption agreements.
Friends of the Park
In the past, local people may have thought their local park or open space could do with some extra support and they haven't known how to help. Now, setting up a group can give all members of the community the chance to work with the council to develop their local park or open space in line with the needs of that community.
If you are interested in starting a 'Friends of the Park' group then we have put togther a small start up pack. The pack explains the basic stages of starting a group, organsing your first AGM, sources of funding which may be of use in reaching your groups aims and objectives, a list of useful contacts and a few suggestions for activities that you could run in your park.
Local plan
The local plan provides guidance on the location of development across West Lothian.
Removal of BT pay phones
The council has objected to the proposed removal of nine pay phones.

For building warrant applications, completion certificates, a "letter of comfort", or to report a dangerous building.
