Services
Services for older people
West Lothian Council provides a full range of support services to older people, including those with dementia, and to their carers.
Our overall aim is to ensure that older people receive a good interlinked provision of quality social, health and housing services relevant to their assessed needs as those needs arise and change with time. Services include support at home, 'smart' housing, respite care, day care, housing with care and care home provision. These services provide, as far as possible, a flexible response to user and carer needs.
Pensioner Income Maximisation Service
The council has a dedicated Pensioner Income Maximisation Team who offer help and advice with all types of benefits to people over 60 years of age.
